Who you are dealing with

Posato is a one-person business in the Netherlands. When these terms say we, that is Posato. There is no support desk behind the name.

Applying

The application form takes your current website address and your email. We reply to every application within a week.

We take on a handful of businesses at a time, so we may turn an application down, and we may stop a build we have already started. Sending the form does not oblige us to build anything, and it does not oblige you to take it.

What we build

We rebuild the website you already have, with booking, payments and a back office in it. If we take you on, your site is ready five days after we start.

It is built on a private preview link you can share with whoever you trust. Your existing site stays live and untouched the whole time, and nothing replaces it until you approve the new one. If you do not like it, we take it down.

What it costs

Nothing while the beta is open. No subscription and no build fee.

When someone pays through your site, we take a 5% commission on that payment. A quiet month costs you nothing. That is how we make money.

Payments

Payments run through Stripe, into a Stripe account opened in your own name. The money is yours from the moment it lands, and our 5% comes off that payment as a fee.

Stripe's own terms apply to the account you open with them. You can also run enquiry only and take no money through the site.

Who owns what

You own what you write and the photos you upload. We take no licence to any of it, and we never reuse it anywhere else.

Every change one of our agents proposes waits in your back office until you approve it. Nothing reaches your public site on its own.

Leaving

There is no contract term and no exit fee. Tell us you are done and we export your content, hand it over and disconnect. You keep the domain and everything on it.

What we do not promise

Nothing on your site guarantees where you come up in a search result or in an AI answer. What we promise is not to throw away your URL history when the site changes.

Posato is beta software. We build and run it with reasonable care, and we do not guarantee that it stays up or that it fits a particular purpose you have in mind.

Changes, and which law applies

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them.

Dutch law applies to these terms, and anything we cannot settle between us goes to the Dutch courts.
