The questions people ask before they switch
What happens to my site if I leave Posato?
You keep the domain and everything on it. We export your content, hand it over and disconnect. There is no contract to get out of and no exit fee.
Will I lose my Google ranking when the site changes?
Your domain stays. Pages that move get a redirect from their old address, and the new site ships with a sitemap and the structured data Google, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity read. Nobody can honestly promise a ranking. We can promise not to throw away your URL history.
Who owns what I write and the photos I upload?
You do. We never take a licence to your content, and we never reuse it anywhere else. It is your business, described in your words.
Can the agents change my site without asking me?
No. Every change an agent proposes will wait in your back office until you approve it. That rule is built in today, before the agents are. Nothing reaches the public site on its own.
What happens to my current website while you build?
Nothing. We build the new one on a private preview link you can share with whoever you trust. Your existing site stays live until you decide to switch.
What does it cost?
Nothing while you are in the beta. When someone pays through your site, we take a 5% commission on that payment. A quiet month costs you nothing.
Do I have to write anything?
No. We start from the site you already have and keep what is yours. You read it before it goes live and tell us what to change.
Can people pay on the site?
Yes, through Stripe. You can also run enquiry only if you would rather talk to someone before taking money. Both are set up the same way.
