What a massage website needs
Someone finds you when their shoulders have been locked up for a week, and they are on the sofa with their phone at half past ten at night. They want to know which treatment fits that, how long it takes, what it costs, and whether they can have it on Saturday. That comes down to four things:
- one short page per treatment, sports, deep tissue, pregnancy or relaxation, saying how long it runs and who it suits
- a page introducing you, naming the professional association you belong to, since clients match that against their supplementary insurance
- your prices per length, written down, a rate for 30, 60 and 90 minutes
- a booking step that works at half past ten at night
Photos of the room matter more here than a blog does; people want to see where they will be lying. Google, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity go looking for exactly those when someone asks where to get a massage in Haarlem, so writing them properly does both jobs.
Online booking for a massage practice
A massage day is blocks and gaps. A 30-minute chair treatment, 60 minutes on a back, a 90-minute full body, and between each one the linen changes and the room airs. Plenty of practices juggle WhatsApp and a Treatwell listing and hold the timing in their head. With Posato the shape of your week is something you set:
- a length and a price per treatment, 30, 60 and 90 minutes side by side
- a buffer after every session, so the turnaround is booked rather than hoped for
- opening hours per weekday and per treatment, so 90-minute work lands only on days your hands can take it
- a booking window and blocked dates, so nobody books a 90-minute slot in your holiday week
- a request mode for names you have not met, the slot held until you say yes
Clients only see hours you have opened. Every booking drops into the back office, your day fills in by itself, and the client gets a confirmation you never had to type.
Moving a massage site off Wix, Squarespace or WordPress
You send the address of the site you have now, on Wix, Squarespace, WordPress or the one-pager a friend made for you, and we rebuild it on a private preview link. Your current site stays live until you approve the new one. The three steps and what they cost you in time are on the home page.
What a massage website costs with Posato
While the beta is open there is no subscription and no build fee. When a client pays for a treatment through your site we take a 5% commission on that payment, and a quiet week in February costs nothing. That is how we make money. The rest of the answer is in the questions on the home page.
