No card, no charge. A parent picks a 30-minute slot, it is confirmed on the spot, they get an email, and it is in your back office before you look. You open only the hours you want to spend meeting new students. Your paid lessons keep their own length, price and hours.
The lesson is paid through Stripe at the moment it is booked and the slot is held. The money arrives in a Stripe account in your own name. If a lesson is called off inside your deadline, a full or partial refund goes from the same screen, and the 5% commission comes out of what was paid.

While the beta is open there is no subscription and no build fee. When a parent pays for a lesson through your site we take a 5% commission on that payment, and the summer holiday costs you nothing. That is how we make money. The rest of the answer is in the questions on the home page.
No. There is no repeating or weekly-series booking. Each lesson is booked on its own. To keep an hour for a regular student, put the coming weeks in yourself from the back office as manual bookings, and move any of them later.
Yes. A booking window sets how many days ahead anyone can pick a slot, so you can keep it to three weeks. You also block whole date ranges, which is how the school holidays stay closed.
That depends on the policy you set. A cancellation policy has a deadline and a penalty, plus a short grace period right after booking, so a lesson called off inside your deadline can keep part of the fee. You can also mark a no-show in the back office.
Yes. They are separate services with their own price, length and hours, so the at-home lessons can sit on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and the online ones can run any evening.
