People find a tattoo artist by looking. They scroll a portfolio, decide whether your linework is the linework they want on them for the rest of their life, and then go looking for two things: what it costs and when you can fit them in. Most tattoo sites answer the first and send the rest into a DM thread that neither of you can find again. What the site has to carry is short:

Tattooing does not fit a fifteen-minute appointment grid. A sleeve runs over several sittings, a small piece is an afternoon, and the thing being booked first is usually a conversation about a drawing that does not exist yet. So a tattoo calendar has its own shape, and Posato lets you build it:

No calendar, no card. The form takes a name, email, phone and a message, and people write the placement, the rough size and what they want in it. It lands in your inbox, they get an automatic reply so nobody is left refreshing, and you come back with a price or a question. The reference picture follows in that reply.
A consultation has a length, a price and the hours you opened for it. The client picks a slot, pays through Stripe, and the slot is held. You see the booking and the payment in one place, and a full or partial refund goes from the same screen. The 5% commission comes out of what they paid.
You send the address of the site you have now, on Wix, Squarespace, WordPress or a link page hanging off your Instagram, and we rebuild it on a private preview link. The portfolio comes with it. Your current site stays live until you approve the new one; the three steps are on the home page.
While the beta is open there is no subscription and no build fee. When someone pays for a consultation or a sitting through your site, we take a 5% commission on that payment. A week you spend on a guest spot with nothing booked at home costs nothing. The rest is in the questions on the home page.
No. Posato has no deposits and no split payments; a service is paid in full at booking or not paid on the site. Instead, sell the consultation as a paid slot and hold the tattoo date itself as a request you approve.
Not on the form. It has name, email, phone and a message, so people describe the piece, the placement and the size there. The picture comes back in the reply, which is where most of the back and forth happens anyway.
Blackout date ranges close them, and the booking window sets how far ahead anyone can book at all. Both are set per service, so consultations can stay open while sittings are shut.
Yes. They are separate services with their own length, price, mode and hours. A 30-minute touch-up can be free and confirmed instantly on a Monday, while a full-day sitting is paid and only offered later in the week.
